a family-owned, Internet-based business located near College Station, Texas. We offer electronic services and
correspondence, as well as hardcopy services, both locally and nationally. All proofreading and editing services are done
in American English.
Because we're a small business, you can expect friendly, personal service. This
personal relationship is something that many of the larger writing and editing companies can't provide.
The writing specialists at Always Write have many years of writing and editing experience, and each has a master's degree in English
from an accredited university. Your submission will be assigned to the specialist who can best meet your proofreading

Dawn Herring
Owner/Writing Specialist
Dawn, the grammar specialist at Always Write, received her master's
degree with a specialization in linguistics/grammar in 1993 from Sam Houston State University, and she earned a bachelor's
degree in English in 1991, also from Sam Houston. Dawn is the owner and full-time writing specialist at Always Write, and she has over 15
years' combined professional experience in the following: proofreading and editing scholarly articles, theses and
dissertations, website content, novels and other creative works, newsletters, resumes, technical reports, and numerous
types of business documents; teaching college writing and grammar courses; tutoring writing and grammar; and
developing and presenting seminars on grammar skills, proofreading skills, organizational skills, and personality
styles.
Daryl Herring
Writing Specialist/Creative Writing Consultant
Daryl, the creative writing specialist at Always Write, received his
master's degree in English with a creative writing emphasis from Sam Houston State University in 2005. He received
a bachelor's degree in English from Baylor University in 1986. He has won numerous awards for writing,
and his original screenplay, Left Hand of God,
was optioned by an independent film company in Los Angeles. Daryl has extensive writing and editing experience;
he is well versed in assisting with the creative writing process, whether it be editing, offering creative feedback,
or ghostwriting.
